Gauntlet Court 10/6/01

Squire Katala and Sir Iago thank every one for attending the event, both
those in our kingdom and outside of it, as well as those who traveled the
long distances.

Sir Iago called before the court his man at arms Avendark and Page Alexandra.
He proceeded to make them his squires.

squire Katala took a few minutes for the Sea of Rhye Midreign court (Gauntlet
was SoRs Midreign)

Griffon Dor was awarded an order of the Owl and an order of the Griffon.
Manix was awarded anorder of the Griffon and the Jovious.
Nod was awarded an order of the Griffon.
SoR Champion Surus was awarded 2 hydras, an order of the Bard, order of the
Spider, a Rose, Griffon, Garber Credit and an order of the Mask.
Squire Avendark was awarded an order of the Dragon and a Garber Credit.
Sir Iago was awarded a smith credit, the order of the walking injury*, and an
order of the Neil**.
Page(?) Montag was awarded an order of the Griffon and an order of the Soap
Stud***
Illiana was awarded the order of the Soap Stud***
Man at arms Creton was awarded the order of the Soap Stud***
Squire Alexander was awarded the order of the Soap Stud***
Man at arms Modin was awarded the order of the Soap Stud***, an order of the
dragon, a Garber Credit, an order of the Griffon, and the order of the
walking injury*.
Sir Blackhawk was awarded the order of the Quest Monkey****

(clarifications-as best i can)
*walking injury- always complaining of some injury and still fighting.
**order of the Neil- one who can act like Neil(?).
***order of the Soap Stud- for all the help given to the SoR car wash.
****Quest Monkey- for the outstanding Quest ideas and passion for it.
(if i'm wrong i'm sure Squire Katala will make it a little more clear. )

King Sanchez gave a toast to the Amtgard members overseas.
He proceeded to give out the following awards:

Squire Isabel- her 5th and 6th orders of the Dragon
Osbrand- his first order of the Griffon
Creton- the title of Lord
squire Katala- her 9th and 10th orders of the Rose
Griffon Dor- title of Master Archer
Surus- title of Master Bard
Nod- title of Master Barbarian
Modin- title of Master Barbarian
Sebastian- the title of Esquire
Samantha- her 3rd and 4th garber credit
Juliet- her 3rd garber credit
wolfen- an order of the owl, dragon, lion, and a garber credit
Nova- 3rd order of the Rose
Aaron- title of Master Warrior
Eldridge- title of Master Wizard
Kin- title of Master Assassin
Shadow- title of Master Archer
Tempest- the title of Lord

Sir Balthizar calls before the court Juliet and makes her his Page.

King calls SoR champion Surus before the court and makes him his Man at Arms.

Sir Iago thanks Surus for every thing he has done.

Syr Leo calls before the court Riz and makes him his Man at Arms.

Sir Amren calls Pollux and man at arms Modin before the court and make them
both his squires. also calls up before the court Griffon Dor and makes him
his Man at Arms.

Adralaine calls before the court Stephan the Black and makes him her Squire.

Dame Fionna calls up her Page Montag. the belted family made many things for
him, such as a pair of pants, 2 tunics, a monks robe, and doublet. also a
portrait was drawn of him and shells were given to him as well.

Dervish gave the King a gift. he gave a Batleth (sp?) which he made himself.

Man at Arms Surus gave out an award to Montag. it was the 'Most improved
fighter in SoR award.

King awards the following awards:
squire willow is given her Master Rose
Squire Katala is given her Master Rose

Syr Leo is made a Knight of the Serpent!

Kuma steps before the court and delivers a message from the Shire of Shadows
Home in BL. his Sheriff sends a bill to the kingdom of Goldenvale for the
Lease of their land. after Kuma read all the requests to King Sanchez the
king proceeded to tell him that we will not pay the bill and if they want
some they should come get some. his head was then cut off and sent back to
the Shire of Shadows Home with a message to 'kiss the kings ass' as well as '
sorry so messy'. Kuma was resurrected, however, whathappened to him after
court is beyond the scribes knowledge.

on 10/7/01 the king awarded Dervish an order of the Rose for his donation to
the auction.

Officer Meeting

King wants all awards lists from all of our groups for clarification needs.

the officer list was discussed. it was agreed upon to put one person from
each group as the list moderator to keep all officers updated.
suggested ways of deciding who will be moderator: ask within the group who
would like to be the permanent moderator. if the moderator does not show up
to participate, quit or does not do their job, it will be a group decision as
to who will be the new moderator/what will be done.

the King must have tourney sheets for requests of Orders of the Warrior.

Mim spoke about getting non fighters involved.
Sir Balthizar spoke about how to get more dues paying people in the group.
Squire Katala will be sending out to the officers a list of awards she
believes people deserve for all the help at this event.
